1、钻机采用自动伸缩式钻塔，用两支高强度油缸作支撑，一组液压阀控制钻塔俯仰，操作省时省力，安全可靠，较大限度的为用户创造效益。
2、底盘采用橡胶履带，重量较轻，能降低车辆行走机构的噪音，减小车体震动可大幅度降低油耗，可在城市道路行走不伤路面。
3、底盘自带液压高支腿，可用于钻机调平、装卸车，工作时可作为辅助支撑。
4、采用24v电启动柴油机，降低操作者的劳动强度，特别是寒冷季节，柴油机启动困难时，更显现了较大地优越性。
5、本机配套Bw-160泥浆泵，泵流量、压力大，维修保养方便，零配件全国各地方便购买。
6、可选加装液压拧管机（75-168mm)，提高工作效率、降低人工成本。
7、可选型号有HW-160L/HW-190L/HW-230L型。
